About Us

The South Calgary Community Basketball Association (SCCBA), known as SoCal Basketball, is a non-profit, volunteer-driven community basketball association serving youth ages 6 to 18.

Our goal is to provide opportunities for young athletes to develop their basketball skills, build confidence, learn teamwork and sportsmanship, and have fun in a positive community environment.

We are proud members of the Calgary Minor Basketball Association (CMBA), which organizes league schedules and games for community-based basketball teams throughout Calgary.

SoCal Basketball is powered by volunteers. Our board members, coordinators, coaches, and other volunteers generously give their time to support our players and families. As volunteers, we run the program around our work, family, and other commitments, but we will respond to emails, answer questions, and assist with concerns as promptly as possible.

SCCBA is a registered non-profit organization under Alberta's Societies Act.
