U9 Program
Why play U9 Basketball?
- Designed for ages 6-8.
- No evaluations and everyone makes a team.
- Great opportunity to introduce both kids and parents to basketball.
- Professional coaching for both kids & parents.
- Great opportunity to develop skills for the more structured U11 and above programs.
- Kids that develop a passion for basketball at this age will enjoy basketball for life!
U9 Season Schedule
- Registration opens mid-June and closes late-August, subject to capacity.
- The season starts late-September and ends late-February.
- Includes:

- One weeknight per week, which is a combination of practice and games - dates, times and locations will be announced in September.
- Optional skills session one weeknight per week, which begins early-October.
- There are no sessions during school winter break times.
- Sessions are run by experienced basketball coaches and games are coached by parent coaches (with support from our experienced coaches)
